If (the teacher) is indeed
Wise, he does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you
to the threshold of your own mind.

I believe in forming a relationship and trust bond with each student - until that happens there will be no teaching or learning.
I have been using Schoology this year to manage my class, which has been incredible. If you've never used it, I plan to introduce it to everyone during the Teachback presentation. I picked up Prezi during EDC601 and have been using that in conjunction with Schoology, and I've incorporated Gamestar Mechanic into some of my lessons.
I would like to explore Reverbnation to help my students who are musicians establish an online presence. The site hitRECord looks intriguing in that you can post media and all the members have access to use it in collaborations. We have started to use Second Life to create Machinima (movies made using virtual worlds, like video games) and I would really like to get some more experience using it (although it is very time consuming).
I'm looking forward to the class this semester. It always helps me step up my game in my classroom when I am getting new ideas and influences from a fresh set of colleagues.
